Pay: From $62,000.00 per year

We are seeking an experienced Accountant (Healthcare / Long Term Care Experience a ) to join our team and help us maintain our financial health.

Job Description:
The Experienced Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accounting, with a focus on healthcare or long-term care facilities.
**Key Responsibilities: **

• Maintain accurate financial records for our long-term care operations
• Process accounts payable and receivable
• Billing and Collection for Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care and Private Pay
• Reconcile bank statements and balance sheets
• Prepare financial reports and statements for management
• Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting for long-term care services
• Conduct periodic audits and ensure data integrity
• Liaise with external accountants and auditors as needed
• Ensure compliance with industry-specific financial regulations

**Requirements: **

• Proven experience as a Accountant (minimum 3 years)
• Proficiency in accounting software (Point Click Care, Sage 50)
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred
• Knowledge of industry-specific financial regulations and best practices
