Staffing Pros, a division of VETS Inc., is recruiting for a full-time vCIO located in Fort Wayne, IN.
Responsibilities
The Virtual Chief Information Officer collaborates with and advises clients IT departments and performs the same functions as a conventional CIO. The goal of this position is to formulate strategic IT goals, assist with planning a client s IT budget, and provide forward thinking solutions.
The primary responsibilities for this position include:
- Strategic IT Advising: Provide strategic IT guidance to clients, aligning technology with their business goals and objectives.
- Budgeting and Financial management: Develop and manage IT budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions and resource allocation.
- Account Management: Foster strong client relationships, serving as the main point of contact for IT-related matters.
- Develop and manage post-sales relationship for Cybersecurity and ITSM assigned accounts.
- Ensure that security and managed IT services are being delivered to assigned clients according to agreement terms.
- Develop and maintain an understanding of the technical capabilities of assigned clients in order to provide the proper security and technical recommendations. Assist clients with becoming more competitive through technology to drive up revenue, cut costs, and increase business continuity.
- Build and maintain strong, trusted advisor relationships with key contacts within assigned accounts.
- Be a good listener and adapt to making connections between business needs and technology solutions.
- Provide leadership during IT budget planning.
- Ability to identify potential areas that could be susceptible to cybersecurity breaches.
- Revenue Generation & Growth: Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling IT services to clients. Work toward achieving revenue growth targets through innovative IT solutions.
- Work with clients to create technology roadmaps to bring clients to Corsica and industry standards.
- Proactively develop and nurture opportunities within assigned accounts, identifying and planning growth across the Corsica services portfolio and for the overall success of the accounts
- Provide demonstrations of security solutions and services.
- Work to understand the current Cybersecurity offerings and how they could mitigate client risks.
- Keep abreast of the latest developments in security threats
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor s degree in business administration or related field
- 10 years related experience in professional IT, Cybersecurity, SaaS, TaaS service delivery, account management, or sales
- Proven experience in technology leadership or technical roles, preferably in an MSP/MSSP environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to drive revenue growth through strategic IT initiatives
- Previous quota and pipeline management responsibilities
- Knowledge of the current compliance landscape and how compliance requirements affect businesses (e.g., HIPAA, PCI DSS, CJIS, CMMC, GLBA)
Preferred:
- Experience with SIEM platforms, firewall management, and endpoint detection and response platforms.
- Experience with the security industry.
- Strong knowledge of IT budgeting and financial management
