Job Description:
We are seeking qualified Optometrists or Ophthalmologists to conduct one-time, non-treatment disability exams for U.S. Veterans. In this role, you will assess eye conditions, review medical records (if requested by the VA), and document findings electronically using a web-based form. The completed exams will be submitted to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to support disability award determinations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general eye examinations (non-treatment) to assess Veterans' vision conditions
- Review medical records when requested by the VA
- Electronically document exam results via a web-based system

Requirements:
- Active state license or certification in good standing, free of major sanctions or malpractice claims
- Access to an office equipped for exams, including a Visual Field test capable of covering 16 meridian points
- Proficiency with tools like Humphrey or Octopus for Static Perimetry, Threshold/Glaucoma, and Kinetic Testing
Compensation:
- Reimbursement rates cover the eye exam, Perimeter Test, and Medical Opinion
