About the Role
As a clinician with VES, you will be responsible for evaluating and diagnosing audio conditions for Veterans.
Responsibilities
- Assess, evaluate, and diagnose health conditions for patients
- Evaluate and diagnose audio conditions to support Veteran's disability claims
- Gather and synthesize clinical evidence through medical and military record review
- Conduct interviews with Veterans and perform face-to-face examinations
- Develop a medical opinion on the likelihood of the Veteran's condition being related to their military service
- Ensure timely and expert examination for Veteran's claims
- Review and submit reports
Qualifications
- Doctorate Degree in Audiology (AuD)
- Masters of Audiology (M.A.)
- Masters of Science Degree in Audiology (M.S.)
- Audiology of Speech Language Pathology Degree (PHD)
- Master's in Communication Disorders (MCD)
- Doctor of Education in Audiology (Ed.D)
- Active and unrestricted license in the state where exams are performed
- Own office within 100 miles of the job location
