Introduction
Veterans Evaluation Services is seeking qualified Psychologists and Psychiatrists (Ph.D, PsyD, MD, DO) to join our provider network as an independent contractor to perform psychological disability examinations for Veterans for the following locations:
Champaign, IL *Applicants must have their own office within 100 miles of the job location.
Responsibilities
- As a clinician, you are an expert in the assessment, evaluation, and diagnosis of health conditions for your patients.
- As an independent contractor with VES, you apply your expertise in the evaluation and diagnosis of psychological conditions to support a Veteran’s disability claim.
- As a certified medical disability examiner, you gather and synthesize clinical evidence through medical and military record review, interviews with Veterans, and face-to-face examinations.
- You develop a medical opinion of likelihood that the Veteran’s condition is related to their military service.
- The timely and expert examination assures that a Veteran’s claim is heard and dutifully processed by VBA.
Qualifications
Psychiatrists
- Doctorate of Medicine (MD/DO) in Psychiatry
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- An active and unrestricted license in the state in which exams are performed.
Psychologists
- Doctorate Degree in Psychology (Ph.D, PsyD)
- APA Accredited Doctoral Program
- An active and unrestricted license in the state in which exams are performed
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $1,800.00 - $2,300.00 per day
