How To Succeed At Veteran Fence & Supply

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have proven sales record, strong work ethic, giving and earning respect and a positive attitude. If you have a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and a desire to excel in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!

  • Prospect and generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their fencing needs and preferences.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on our products and services, helping clients select the best solutions for their requirements.
  • Prepare and present proposals and quotes to clients, negotiating terms and closing sales.
  • Relentlessly follow-up with all leads.
  • Collaborate closely with our installation team to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and project details in our CRM system.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify opportunities for business growth.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in sales, preferably in the construction or home improvement industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and goals.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and build rapport with clients.
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a proactive attitude towards identifying and pursuing opportunities.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Company car will be provided, upon license approval with our Insurance provider.
  • Ability to use various technologies including Apple products, and various software programs, including ArcSite and Job Nimbus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Base salary UNCAPPED commission

Benefits: Health insurance and Paid time off

Schedule: Monday to Friday, weekends as needed

Experience: Construction estimating: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification: Driver's License (Required)

Must be at least 21 years old for insurance coverage
