The Oklahoma VA Healthcare System (Enid Clinic) is actively recruiting and is seeking full-time board certified / board eligible Family Practice or Internal Medicine Physicians to join our Primary Care Health Team. The primary care provider will function as a highly skilled, independent care provider in the management of patients, you ll be part of an interdisciplinary care team with access to state-of-the-art medicine and some of the most advanced medical technologies available. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic member of a multidisciplinary team in the Primary Care setting. Independent workstyle. Prior experience in primary care, internal medicine, family medicine or women s health. The physician serves as a Primary Care Provider (PCP) at a Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC). The CBOC operates under a Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) Model. The PACT provides comprehensive care for our Veteran population, including the diagnoses, care, and treatment of both acute and chronic conditions. Common diagnoses encountered include diabetes, hypertension, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, degenerative arthritis, depression, congestive heart failure, and chronic pain. Community-based outpatient clinics allow Veterans to receive care close to where they live and increases access to health and wellness services.
