The Veterans Health Administration is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician to join our team in Hammond, LA. As a member of our Primary Care Team, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our nation's heroes.
About the Position:
- Located at our Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC) in Hammond, LA
- Work Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8am-4:30pm
You Will Be Responsible For:
- Providing high-quality patient care to approximately 12-20 outpatients daily in an outpatient setting
- Managing all facets of acute patient care, including ordering diagnostic testing and consulting with specialists and subspecialists
- Participating in performance improvement activities to improve the quality and safety of care
