To qualify you must meet the requirements below. This experience MUST be reflected in your resume to be considered as qualifying for this position. GS-12 Specialized Experience : You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-11 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to : Experience identifying problems, determining relevance of information to make recommendations; Experience expressing information to individuals or groups effectively, making clear and convincing oral presentations; Experience determining short or long-term goals and strategies to achieve them, monitoring progress, and evaluating outcomes. GS-13 Specialized Experience : You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade (GS-12) in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include but are not limited to : Experience preparing content that is culturally sensitive, inclusive, and respective of diverse audiences; Experience problem-solving, helping others learn, identifying vital Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion training needs, coaching others on how to perform tasks; Experience using computers, software applications, databases, and automated systems to accomplish work. AND Selective Placement Factor (SPF) : In addition to the experience above, this position includes a Selective Placement Factor (skills, knowledge, ability or other worker characteristics basic to - and essential for - satisfactory performance of the job). Selective Placement Factors are a prerequisite to appointment and represent minimum requirements for a position. Applicants who do not meet it are ineligible for further consideration. Evidence of the Selective Placement Factor must be clearly reflected in your resume. The Selective Placement Factor for this position is : Experience with public speaking and training a diverse audience on appropriate behaviors in the workforce, cultural awareness, and civility. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
