To qualify for this position, applicants must meet the below requirements. Basic Requirements : Education : A full 4-year course of study that meets all the requirements for a bachelor's degree with major study in the subject-matter field of the position to be filled. or Experience : Four years of experience that provided a knowledge of the basic principles, theories, practices, techniques, and terminology of a discipline or subject-matter field; an understanding of the standard methods, procedures, and techniques of research and analysis in the subject-matter field; and where appropriate, ability to read and comprehend nontechnical material in one or more foreign languages. Such experience must have been equivalent to that which would have been gained through a 4-year college curriculum. or A combination of education and experience as described above. In addition to meeting the Basic Requirements shown above you must also meet the following qualifications. Specialized Experience (GS-13) : You must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade (GS-12) in the Federal service, that equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience includes synthesizing data to provide evidence based recommendations to clinicians and other healthcare staff, and serving as the principal architect (with medical library knowledge) of health science information resources throughout a health care system, may include health professions, learning and continuing education, staff education, and workforce development; processing of information science and the organization of work to review work systems / processes, identify, analyze, and recommend solutions to problems.
