Urologist Position at VA Northern California Health Care System
The Stockton VA Outpatient Clinic offers a comprehensive range of medical services, including primary care, audiology, cardiology, and specialty care in urology.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide state-of-the-art urological care, including outpatient care, pre-operative assessment, operative intervention, and post-operative care.
- Manage the delivery of urological services, including consultation/referral review and triage, coordination of clinics, and contracting with local facilities.
- Participate in all aspects of the general urology program, including providing urological outpatient care, informing patients about treatment options, and obtaining informed consent for invasive procedures.
Opportunities for Professional Growth
The position offers opportunities to work at the Sacramento VA Medical Center 1-2 days per month to maintain surgical skills and apply for a Volunteer Clinical Faculty (VCF) appointment to work with residents training at the UC Davis School of Medicine.
Benefits and Compensation
- Competitive salary: $327,000 - $357,000 per year.
- Annual performance bonus and regular salary increases.

Requirements
