Substance Abuse Counselor - Female Staff
Position type: Part-time (Temp-to-hire)
Shifts: 7a-3p, 3p-11p, and 11p-7a
Location: Worcester, Massachusetts
Program Population: Veterans (Women's Program)
RESPONSIBLE FOR DAY TO DAY:
- Provide Personalized Resident Care: - Assist residents with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support, ensuring dignity and comfort.
- Monitor Resident Well-Being: - Observe residents for changes in physical, emotional, or cognitive condition and report finding to the care time.
- Support Daily Living: - Help promote a positive quality of life for residents, providing companionship, assistance and a safe living environment.
- Document and Communicate Effectively: - Record care provided and communicate with healthcare professionals, residents, and families to ensure consistent, quality care.
- Adhere to Policies and Procedures: - Follow all facility protocol, including (but not limited to) HIPAA regulations, and state and federal compliance guidelines. Attending ongoing training sessions to stay updated on best practices.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of one year of substance abuse treatment or counseling experience needed.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
