Responsibilities
- Assist plumbers in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimates.
- Help with pipe threading and fitting installation.
- Support plumbing projects by preparing job sites, including cleaning and organizing tools and materials.
- Collaborate with team members on remodeling projects, ensuring quality workmanship.
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project status and needs.
Experience
- Basic knowledge of plumbing systems is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is essential.
- Experience in carpentry, HVAC, or general maintenance person work is a plus.
- Mechanical knowledge or prior experience in pipe threading or remodeling projects will be beneficial.
