Immediate Hiring Need for
an Entry Level Full Time Travel Mechanic
Monday-Friday, Home most nights
$22-24/HR
We are looking for someone who is willing to learn the ins and outs of heavy equipment repairs. Our team travels to troubleshoot heavy equipment within a two hour radius. If you have a mechanical background and are looking for an opportunity to enter a growing field, this is the position for you!
Responsibilities:
- Recondition and repair all equipment components and systems as assigned
- Order all parts and materials required to perform assigned repairs
- Ensure that all repairs are completed as assigned
- Maintain working records for time, parts, supplies, and outside purchases in repairs
- All record-keeping methods are followed per instructions
- Maintain and Care for Shop Tools, Equipment, and Vehicles
- Enforce all policies and procedures as specified in the company manuals.
- Maintain excellent customer and employee relations.
Qualifications
- Problem solver and ethical
- Strong mechanical skills.
- Good communications skills
- Working knowledge of equipment operations and mechanical functions
Not Required but Our Ideal Candidate Would Have:
- A technical school certificate or equivalent in mechanical repairs
- Able to perform repairs for all major equipment systems
