What are the responsibilities and job description for the Armed Security Officer (TEMP-FRI-SAT) position at Veterans Security Corps of America Inc.?
The primary purpose of the Security Officer is to ensure the safety of Employees/Guests, protect the buildings/grounds and serve as both a visual and physical deterrent to making the property unappealing to persons with ill intent. Your appearance, demeanor and professionalism will be a direct reflection of the quality and standards of VETERANS SECURITY CORPS SECURITY, INC.
1. Enforcing client and company policies and procedures
2. Badge Compliance
3. Property Movement Compliance
4. Regulating and directing parking lot traffic, as necessary
5. Escort employees to their vehicles, as requested
6. Respond, compile, and report all information about theft, alarms, accidents, and other incidents that may occur
7. Provide meal breaks for Security Officers where applicable
8. Observe and report all unusual activity
9. Report all building utility/ service issues.
10. Notify, assist, and direct emergency personnel as necessary
11. Provide security access of authorized personnel into building including visitors and their employee sponsors, client employees and / or contractors
12. Patrol, check, and or secure access areas into and onto client's premises, as well as highly sensitive locations within the buildings
13. Operate telephone and radio equipment
14. Monitor Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) and alarm panels for emergency and entrance into buildings
15. Prepare all required written reports, including but not limited to: Daily Activity Reports (DAR’s) and Incident Reports
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Weekends as needed
