Work Schedule: Hybrid, 3 days onsite/ 2 days remote per week
Job Description
- Basic knowledge of project management techniques and Systems Development Life Cycle methodologies.
- Knowledge in security administration, firewall configuration and administration, and VPN's.
- Understanding of basic information security practices.
- Understanding of cyber and information security across some of the following areas: Network, MS Windows, Linux, SecurID, Firewall operations, IDS/IPS, security tool sets, security strategies.
- Experience
- One to two years of experience in Information Security Operations or Security Administration.
- Maintenance or use of antivirus solutions.
- Maintenance of communication and encryption technology options (VPN, SSL, Whole Disk, PKI, User and File-based, etc.).
- Maintenance and/or use of firewalls.
- Understand LAN and WAN design.
- Understand vulnerability testing and remediation of Linux, Windows, or Cloud based systems.
Job Function
- Support Bank's antivirus infrastructure.
- Support Host Intrusion Protection Systems.
- Support enterprise encryption products and processes.
- Investigate, respond to, and follow through on possible and actual security breaches.
- Support web, email, and network filtering product(s).
- Support event log server and correlation tool(s).
- Perform network and host vulnerability assessments and work with IT to remediate vulnerabilities.
- Manage firewalls and firewall rule changes.
- Manage Network Intrusion Detection Systems.
- Assist with providing user training in security awareness and in conveying Bank's information security policies.
- Recommend policy, procedure, standard, or instruction updates, modifications, additions, or deletions to department operations.
- Review security offerings and recommend solutions.
- Provide security perspective in early phases of new major in-house developed or purchased solutions.
- Oversight, monitoring, and compliance tasks in security infrastructure, security assessment, incident response, and change control.
- Keep abreast of security trends and events, and attend security conferences and industry trade shows as required.
Salary : $100,000 - $110,000
