Job Title : Sr. Electrical / Test Engineer

Duration : 12 Months (Possible Extension) - POSSIBLE CONVERSION TO PERM VERY HIGH

Location :   St. Paul, MN 55112 (Arden Hills, MN)

Responsibilities :

Seeking a highly detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to join our team, focusing on driving yield improvement activities as part of new product development.

The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical engineering, with experience analyzing electrical test data for ASICs / semiconductors, interpreting the results, coordinating / conducting experiments to identify root cause and implement the necessary changes to resolve the issue.

Highly desired for this individual to have experience with semiconductor fabrication processes and failure analysis techniques.

Coordinating and tracking test investigations, reviewing and summarizing electrical test data, supporting ad-hoc lab investigations, and leading failure analysis activities.

The role involves supporting a team of engineers in developing implantable hardware based on the electrical data analysis this candidate discovers, evaluating and presenting test data to the team of engineers, and ensuring project closure through action plans and team follow-ups.

Education / Experience :

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering

Product development experience

Yield improvement experience

Data analysis experience in platforms such as Mini Tab, JMP, or Microsoft Excel

Proven track record of leading and closing projects involving cross-functional teams

Proficiency in Excel and other data analysis software

Excellent communication skills, confidence, and the ability to work with and guide a team of engineers are crucial for success in this role.

Preferred :

Experience driving yield improvements in semiconductors (SRAMs, Analog Blocks, etc.)

Electrical testing background

Failure analysis experience

Medical device or regulated field experience

Electrical design background
