TITLE: Program Delivery Lead
PAY RATE: $80- $83/hr. W2
DURATION: 4 months to start with potential for extension dependent on project phases and funding up to 18 months
LOCATION: Jersey City, NJ (Preferred) / Likely hybrid M-Th
Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Program Delivery Lead to oversee the implementation of a new system for our global IT operations. This role will focus on managing vendor relationships and ensuring the delivery of a scalable SAAS solution within budget and on schedule. The system will be rolled out in the US and Canada, requiring close collaboration with business teams and external vendors.
Key Responsibilities
Initial Phase:
• Kick off requirements gathering for third-party vendor systems
• Document requirements and conduct demos
• Collaborate with internal teams to select the appropriate vendor
Implementation Phase:
• Organize workshops to define low-level requirements
• Work with the vendor to create a detailed implementation plan
• Develop a 2-year roadmap post vendor selection
Ongoing Tasks:
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure they deliver according to the plan and budget
• Facilitate business conversations and act as a liaison between internal teams and external vendors
• Present project updates and progress to stakeholders
Top Skills and Qualifications
Insurance Experience:
• Fundamental understanding of insurance products, underwriting, documentation, and policy structures
• Knowledge of insurer vs. broker relationships and how these interactions work
SAAS Applications:
• Experience working with third-party vendors to implement SAAS solutions
Collaboration and Presentation Skills:
• Highly collaborative, with the ability to bring together business teams and stakeholders
• Strong presentation skills to influence and guide team members, regardless of direct reporting lines
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience running implementation projects within an insurance company
• Proven track record of managing large-scale IT projects
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to create detailed implementation roadmaps
