Job Description:
Our corporate website is the cornerstone of our digital strategy, and we are seeking a talented Web Design Lead to guide its evolution. By collaborating closely with product and segment marketing teams, we strive to bring high craft, strategic design solutions to life across our corporate web site and campaign pages.
In this role, you ll report to the head of web strategy and operations and will be responsible for creating visually compelling, on-brand web pages and interactive elements that enhance our digital presence. You ll use your expertise in design, front-end development, and light animation to build responsive, engaging user experiences. Working with the rest of the web team and marketing teams, you ll bring creative concepts to life, ensuring a cohesive and polished web experience that aligns with our brand vision.
What you ll do:
- Design and UX oversight of website experience.
- Set and document web visual identity and UX standards.
- Ensure they are applied consistently across site in day-to-day operations.
- Maintain and expand the design system, contributing to a cohesive and scalable web design framework.
- Design and implement visually engaging, responsive web pages that enhance the user experience and reflect brand identity.
- Develop interactive elements and light animations to create a more dynamic, engaging site experience.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless translation of designs into code, maintaining design fidelity.
- Wireframing, user flows, IA.
- Provide strategic UX/UI direction to junior designer and web team members.
- User testing, A/B testing.
Requirements:
- 6 years of experience in web or digital design with a strong portfolio showcasing responsive and visually compelling work.
- Strong web design and UX/UI skills.
- Proficiency in Figma and basic Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color, and layout.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally.
- Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with design systems and component-based web design.
- Basic front-end skills (HTML, CSS, and light JavaScript) to support collaboration with developers.
- Experience with creating light animations or interactive elements (e.g., CSS animations, Ceros).
- Corporate website experience required.
- Financial services preferred.
