Title : Jr ServiceNow Developer
Location : Malvern, PA
Duration : Contract 6 months
100% REMOTE W2 ONLY
Responsibilities :
ServiceNow administration / development primarily focused on catalog item configuration and management.
Might include knowledge and portal management as well.
The primary goal for this position will be to assist in development and administration of ServiceNow.
The ServiceNow Developer will provide tools and resources necessary for successful implementation and use of industry best practices including but not limited to ITIL Incident Management, Change Management, Problem management, Configuration Management and Request Fulfillment.
This individual will guide the integration and organizational adoption of ITSM processes, standards, policies and controls.
Develops ITSM process activities through the development of policies, processes and procedures in order to establish a standard methodology / practice that will optimize Customer Service Support and Delivery performance.
Communicates process standards to ensure understanding across the organization.
Attend and contribute in peer / customer meetings involving technical subject matter experts and lay persons.
Implements, configures and administers ServiceNow, enabling ITSM processes.
These activities would include, but not limited to, adding and modifying workflows, assisting the data warehouse team, updating ITSM system configuration in support of changes, etc.
Works with the process / service owner to define the configuration management process and the necessary policies.
Researches, reviews and analyzes the effectiveness and efficiency of procedures, and develops strategies for enhancing these processes in accordance with ITIL best practices to enable continuous improvement.
Education / Experience :
Min of HS diploma / GED or Bachelor's Degree
2-4 years of recent, professional technical or administrative experience with ServiceNow.
ITIL Certification preferred
Previous experience writing Policy / Procedure regarding ITSM best practices.
Previous experience with Database reporting tools.
Previous experience with Business Process Re-Design / Improvement (BPR / I).
Proficient in JavaScript.
Understanding of Jelly, JEXL, HTML, XML, Bootstrap, and / or AngularJS a plus.
Knowledgeable in Programming / Scripting experience in Java, PowerShell and / or SQL a plus.
