Job Title: Tax Accountant
Location: Riverside, RI - Onsite
Pay Rate: $29.80/hr on W2
Duration: 6-month contract with Possible extension
Description:
- Resource is required to be on the assignment for the required hours as specified in the job description.
- Forty hours per week is the expectation in the absence of specified hours.
- Attendance and punctuality are essential components of the position; therefore, unexcused absences and tardiness could result in dismissal.
- Maintains tax records and prepares tax returns, related schedules, and related reports.
- Prepares paperwork for local, state and federal level returns.
- Requires a bachelor's degree and 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of complicated tasks.
- May report to an executive or a manager.
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
