Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Loan Officer Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in loan origination and processing, with a keen understanding of financial products and services. While prior experience is not required, it would be helpful. The right candidate must possess excellent problem-solving skills and be able to communicate effectively to assist our clients throughout the loan process.
Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound calls, texts, and emails to individuals who have inquired about home loan financing.
- Transfer potential clients to licensed loan officers for further processing.
- Provide general clerical and phone support to loan officers and/or loan processors as needed.
- Assist clients in understanding all loan approval requirements, including required documentation standards and acceptable alternatives.
- Facilitate the gathering of all required documentation for initial loan pre-qualification, including necessary financial and credit information.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge regarding various loan products, agency, and legislative requirements.
- Promote overall client satisfaction by answering questions and clearly communicating loan pre-qualification requirements.
- Smoothly transition clients to a licensed Senior Loan Officer for further processing.
- Understand and comply with the company’s published policies and procedures and participate in all employer-sponsored training and required meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the employer from time to time.
Experience & Skills
- Proven experience in sales, particularly within the banking or financial services industry, is helpful but not required.
- Familiarity with loan processing procedures and regulations is beneficial.
- Proficiency in financial software tools that assist in loan origination and management.
- Strong mathematical skills
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
