Job description:
As a veterinary technician at Veterinary Care Center, you won't just be holding pets for exams - you’ll be an essential part of the medical team. Our technicians are trusted partners in patient care, playing a key role in examinations, diagnostics, surgery, and treatments. We believe in utilizing your full skill set, allowing you to actively participate in patient care, anticipate needs, and contribute valuable insights—because here, our techs are more than assistants; they’re colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate care to patients
- Assist in medical, surgical, and dental procedures
- Monitor patients under anesthesia and recovery
- Perform laboratory procedures (blood draws, urinalysis, skin scrapings, etc.)
- Take radiographs and assist with ultrasounds
- Educate clients on medications, treatments, and at-home care
- Maintain a positive and cooperative work environment
What We’re Looking For:
✔ At least 2 years of veterinary technician & surgical experience preferred
✔ Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) desirable but not required
✔ Passion for animals and ability to work with them—even when stressed or in pain
✔ Strong teamwork and communication skills
✔ Reliable, punctual, and dedicated to patient care
✔ Comfortable with lifting animals (with assistance for pets over 40 lbs)
