Responsibilities:
- Take complete ownership of the hospital's Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, ensuring financial performance aligns with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with regional leadership to identify trends and forecast the hospital's needs.
- Manage accounts receivable to maintain financial health.
- Oversee hospital inventory and control facility and administrative costs.
- Manage payroll and develop staff schedules to optimize labor costs.
- Champion change by identifying, documenting, sharing, and promoting best practices.
- Lead the hospital team to enhance processes and workflows, covering client service, operations, and administrative tasks.
- Implement new technologies and initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
- Establish and drive a positive and cohesive hospital culture.
- Ensure all DVMs maintain current licensures.
- Provide constructive feedback and handle challenging conversations with professionalism.
- Demonstrate and reinforce the highest level of client service.
- A bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in a managerial role, including customer service experience.
- Experience in a hospital, retail, or service-based industry setting in positions of increased responsibility is a plus.
