Attendant
Veterinary Care of Ithaca is a progressive, small animal hospital in Ithaca, NY. We are currently seeking part-time attendants to assist our medical and client service teams and perform other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated team player who is detail oriented and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to work Monday through Friday. Some Saturday availability may be required.

Job Duties: Assist our veterinary team with daily operations, including:
- Maintaining a clean and organized clinic at all times
- Cleaning and sterilizing medical equipment
- Stocking and replenishing exam rooms and patient treatment areas
- Checking in clients and patients for appointments with the veterinarian
- Answering phones in a friendly manner while ensuring client information is entered into the electronic medical record system (EMR) accurately.
- Unpacking daily shipments
- Assisting medical staff with patient restraint using Fear Free principles
- Assisting medical and client care teams as needed
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
