The Veterinary Medical Center of Long Island is looking for Licensed Veterinary Technicians to join our team. FT and PT opportunities are available within this state-of-the-art veterinary specialty & emergency critical care facility located on the south shore of Long Island in West Islip, NY. Veterinary technicians provide high quality medical care to all in-patient and outpatient animals as directed by a veterinarian. They work closely with Hospital Administrator, Head Vet Tech, Clinicians, and Owners.
We currently have openings in our Surgery Department for day, evening, weekend, and overnight shifts. Full-tim e and part-time hours are available.
In the performance of their respective tasks and duties, all employees are expected to conform to the following :
- Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.
- Interact professionally with other employees, customers and suppliers.
- Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments.
- Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations.
