Your Role:
As a Veterinary Assistant or RVT, you’ll be an integral part of our team, assisting veterinarians in the care and treatment of pets while ensuring a positive experience for both the animals and their owners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians during exams and procedures.
- Monitor patients pre- and post-surgery, including administering medications and fluids.
- Take patient histories and assist in the development of treatment plans.
- Help educate pet owners about their pets’ health and wellness needs.
- Assist/Perform dental procedures
- Maintain clean and well-organized treatment areas and exam rooms.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any questions or concerns from pet owners.
What We’re Looking For:
- For Veterinary Assistants: Previous experience as a veterinary assistant in a hospital/clinic setting.
- For RVTs: Current RVT certification and valid state license required.
- A love for animals and a strong desire to help improve their lives.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with a team.
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable, with a positive attitude.
Job Details:
- Job Type: Full-time or part-time, with flexible scheduling options to suit your needs.
- Salary: Competitive pay based on experience.
- Schedule: Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 10am - 5pm. Weekends off!
