We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. Duties
As a Veterinary Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting veterinarians during examinations and anesthetic procedures
- Inducing and monitoring anesthesia
- Administering medications, injections, and treatments as prescribed
- Conducting X-ray imaging and ensuring proper handling of equipment
- Providing animal restraint and handling for safe examinations
- Assisting with animal catheterization and intravenous (IV) placements
- Maintaining accurate medical records and documentation
- Ensuring a clean and organized work environment
Experience
Candidates should have:
- Proficiency in veterinary terminology and knowledge of animal anatomy
- Experience with anesthesia monitoring and recovery
- Familiarity with laboratory procedures related to veterinary medicine
- Strong skills in animal handling, restraint, and catheterization techniques
- Record keeping and organization
