Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Forklift Operator to join our team. This position involves safely operating forklifts to load and unload delivery trucks, organize materials, and prepare products for shipment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and reliable, with a proven track record in forklift operations within a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities

Forklift Operation:
- Safely operate stand-up, sit-down, or pallet jack forklifts to move raw materials and finished goods within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trailers at the shipping and receiving dock following proper safety guidelines.

Inventory Management:
- Assist with organizing, labeling, and storing inventory in designated locations.
- Perform inventory control tasks, including using scanner tools for tracking and accuracy.

Shipment Preparation:
- Wrap and prepare finished products according to customer specifications for outbound shipments.

Equipment Maintenance:
- Conduct daily forklift inspections and report any operational issues.
- Ensure all equipment is in safe working condition.

General Warehouse Duties:
- Perform additional warehouse tasks, such as packaging, order picking, shipping, and receiving, as directed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to comply with safety and operational standards.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year operating forklifts in a warehouse, manufacturing, or similar setting.
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification preferred (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to read and understand shipping documents, labels, and safety guidelines.
- Basic math skills and effective verbal and written communication.
- Physical Requirements:
- Lift, push, or pull items weighing up to 75 lbs.
- Operate forklifts to handle pallets weighing up to 2,000 lbs.
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in environments with varying temperatures.
