Description

We are looking for a responsible, hardworking individual with emotional maturity to work alongside our energetic and dedicated staff. This position is full-time, entry-level, physically demanding yet very rewarding.


Key responsibilities:

  • Safely approaches and restrains patients as needed during treatments and exams
  • Walking and caring for pre-op and post-op patients
  • Monitoring patients and keeping accurate records
  • Admitting and releasing patients
  • Cleaning of runs & cages to maintain high standards of care
  • Stocking all departments with food, towels, and blankets for our patients

Starting salary is $17.00/hr, but may be more based on experience.

Veterinary Specialty Center a 24-hour Emergency and Critical Care hospital has an exciting opportunity for an energetic, self-motivated, and professional individual to join our team in an exciting environment. Our Ward/Kennel attendants learn how much they enjoy the veterinary field so they often move up within the hospital and become Veterinary Technician Assistants or they even decide to go back to school and become Veterinary Technicians or Veterinarians.
