Pharmacy Technician
Duties:
- Maintain inventory of medications and supplies
- Enter prescription information into the computer system accurately
- Package and label medications for distribution
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
- Answer phone calls and address inquiries or concerns
- Perform administrative tasks, such as filing and record keeping
Experience:
- Previous experience as a pharmacy technician preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology and pharmacy operations
- Knowledge of medication administration techniques
- Understanding of aseptic technique for sterile compounding
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, such as acute care or critical care settings-worked in Animal Hospital previously
