Role Overview: Lead Client Ambassador
In this role, you’ll oversee and support the hospital’s daily front desk operations, ensuring an efficient and inviting experience for clients and patients. You will:
- Lead by Example: Provide guidance and mentorship to front desk staff, fostering teamwork and a positive culture.
- Warmly Welcome Clients: Greet clients and pets with professionalism and empathy.
- Coordinate Operations: Manage appointment schedules, handle client communications, and maintain accurate medical records.
- Oversee Financial Transactions: Process payments, invoices, and other monetary transactions accurately.
- Streamline Processes: Monitor workflows to optimize efficiency and improve the client experience.
- Support Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with kennel, boarding, and medical teams to ensure smooth hospital operations.
- Maintain a Welcoming Environment: Oversee cleanliness and organization of the reception area, ensuring it reflects Veterinary United’s high standards.
Qualifications

Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2 years of customer service or veterinary reception experience.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

Skills & Physical Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to inspire and guide the team.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without restriction.
- Comfortable working around animals, including those that may be anxious or aggressive.
- Stamina to work in a dynamic, high-energy environment, including standing, sitting, bending, and kneeling as needed.
