Veterinary United is looking for a Veterinary Medical Equipment Technician to ensure that our state-of-the-art medical tools across over 20 premier veterinary clinics in metro Detroit, Adrian, and Lansing are operating at peak performance. Job Responsibilities : As our Veterinary Medical Equipment Technician, you will :

  • Inspect, maintain, and repair veterinary medical equipment, ensuring reliable operation and safety.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on diagnostic, surgical, and treatment equipment according to manufacturer and regulatory guidelines.
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform repairs or replacements as needed to minimize downtime.
  • Keep detailed records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with clinic teams to identify and address equipment needs proactively.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or GED; technical certification or vocational training in equipment maintenance is a plus.
  • 2 years of experience in medical or technical equipment maintenance.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic and treatment equipment, including imaging, laboratory, and surgical tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency with basic electrical, mechanical, and computer-based troubleshooting.
