When a furry friend walks through the doors, you are right there to ensure the best experience not only for them, but their owner too. You love animals regardless of species and want to grow your skills in a field where compassion is needed, and positivity is required!
In addition to answering the multi-line phone system, the Client Ambassador greets clients when they arrive at our hospital; interacts with clients, technicians, and doctors during their visit; helps check clients in/out and process payments; and helps with filing of medical records and typical administrative duties.
Job Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome clients and pets.
- Answer phones and schedule appointments/reservations & updating medical charts.
- Handle monetary transactions and process payments.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, stocking, scanning, and uploading.
- Assist kennel and boarding staff with walking/feeding dogs, cleaning kennels, check-in/check-out as needed
- Keeping a clean and organized reception area.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year prior customer service experience
- Reception experience highly preferred
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs without restriction.
- Must be comfortable working around potentially anxious or aggressive animals.
