Bay Beach Veterinary Emergency Hospital is seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technicians (LVTs) to join our dedicated Emergency Services team! ER experience is preferred, but not required, training provided. This role is Full-time or Part-Time.

Role and Responsibilities: As an LVT at BBVEH, you will be fully utilized in your role, taking on responsibilities such as:
- Leading the flow and guiding staff through shifts
- Triage and emergency stabilization
- In-house diagnostics and treatments
- Intensive care for hospitalized patients
- In-depth client education
Skills Necessary: Venipuncture, IVC placement, anatomical knowledge, radiograph and anesthetic skill, medical math, pharmacological knowledge, willingness to learn and admit when direction is needed.
Advanced Skills (preferred, can be mentored): Central line, PICC line, NG tube, bandaging techniques, wound repairs, U-Cath placements

Schedule: We offer a variety of schedule options and strive to balance individual needs with hospital requirements
- Full-time: 35 hours/week, including nights and weekends, with respect to work-life balance
- Part-time: 20 hours/week, including some nights and weekends, with respect to work-life balance
Requirements
- Licensed in the state of Virginia
- Prior Veterinary Assistant, Vet Tech, or LVT experience required
- ER Experience Preferred
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
