Key Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians in the examination, diagnosis, and treatment of animals
- Perform routine procedures such as venipuncture, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, dental prophylaxis, and radiography
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patient progress and provide nursing care to hospitalized patients
- Educate clients on pet care, nutrition, medications, and follow-up visits
- Maintain accurate patient records using veterinary software
- Ensure proper cleaning, disinfection, and maintenance of equipment and exam rooms
- Support inventory management and ordering of supplies
- Adhere to clinic protocols and safety procedures at all times
Qualifications:
