Job Title: AWS Cloud Developer
Location: Atlanta, GA
Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, and more.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or AWS CodePipeline.
Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Experience:
Highly experienced with AWS database, data warehousing, and storage management:
Design, deploy, and manage scalable and reliable cloud-based databases (AWS RDS).
Monitor database performance, implement backup and recovery strategies, and optimize database queries and schemas for efficiency.
Ensure data integrity and security by implementing appropriate controls, encryption, and data masking techniques.
Design and manage cloud storage solutions (e.g., AWS S3, Azure Blob Storage, Google Cloud Storage) to support a variety of data types and access patterns.
Highly experienced with API management:
Design, develop, and maintain APIs using best practices and industry standards (e.g., REST, GraphQL).
Implement API gateway solutions (e.g., AWS API Gateway, Apigee) to manage and secure API traffic.
Monitor API performance, usage, and security, implementing rate limiting, authentication, and authorization as needed.
Extensive experience with AWS Lambda:
Develop and deploy serverless applications using AWS Lambda.
Integrate Lambda functions with other AWS services such as S3, DynamoDB, and API Gateway.
Implement event-driven architectures using Lambda to respond to changes in data, user requests, or system events.
Optimize Lambda functions for performance and cost-efficiency.
Monitor and troubleshoot Lambda functions using AWS CloudWatch and other monitoring tools.
Ensure high availability and scalability of serverless applications.
Experience with security tools and standards (PingID, OIDC, OAuth2.0).
Experience with analytics (AWS Athena)
Design and implement event-driven architectures using AWS EventBridge and Amazon SQS
Experience with DevOps tools: AWS CodePipeline, GitLab CI/CD, Helm, Docker, Kubernetes.
Experience working with IAM services in AWS AWS IAM, Roles, Policies, and Security Groups.
Experience with cloud monitoring tools like AWS CloudWatch, Grafana, and Prometheus
