Overview:
Vetio Animal Health, a leading manufacturer of animal health products, is seeking a Production Operator to join our team in Jupiter, FL. As a Production Operator, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, ensuring that our products are produced efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow good manufacturing practices (GMP) and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Clean production utensils, equipment, and suites.
- Package finished product for shipment.
- Follow quality standards.
- Report issues to line leads for a seamless production schedule.
- Operate and monitor production equipment and machinery according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.
- Set up and prepare production equipment for daily operations.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure proper functioning and prevent downtime.
- Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality control standards and make adjustments as necessary.
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality specifications.
- Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues and collaborate with maintenance technicians to resolve problems.
- Adhere to safety protocols and report any safety hazards or incidents immediately.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and meet production targets.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, quality, and compliance.
Skills & Knowledge Required:
No prior experience or training.
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience a plus.
Previous production/manufacturing experience in pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or food processing and packaging setting (Preferred).
Ability to cross-train in multiple operator roles.
