Assembler Production Technician

Job Description

Job summary

Function: Assemble products or components of manufactured items per production work orders and/or procedures, drawings, and schematics.

General Responsibilities

• Participate in required meetings.
• Promote unity and positive morale.
• Assure cleanliness of working areas.
• Complete quality documentation using readable penmanship.
• Able to lift 30 pounds minimum on a regular basis.
• Understand and obey all safety requirements.
• Ability to clock in and out of timekeeping system correctly.
• Social skills to get along with co-workers and be a team player.
• Commitment to keep work area clean and free of debris.
• Working knowledge of Employee Handbook.
• Able to understand and communicate in English.
• Proficient in written, oral and interpersonal communication.
• Ability to work in teams and independently.
• Able to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
  
  

Job Specific Responsibilities:

• Operate assembly line hand tools.
• Completing paperwork daily related to assembly line.
• Assemble products or components of manufactured items.
• Reject products outside of specifications per NCMR procedure.
  
  

Additional

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED equivalent preferred.
• Experience in related industry preferred.
  
  

Training Requirements

• All training courses as identified by the Training Matrix must be complete 90 days after hire.
• Any other training identified on the Individual Development Plan.
