Job Description
This position will focus on avionics tasks while performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to support a fleet of MH-139 at Maxwell Air Force Base, AL in accordance with United States Air Force approved maintenance procedures and the Supplier approved Ground Operating Procedures (GOP) MH-139A maintenance procedures, as well as other documented maintenance and support procedures. Responsibilities
Performs aircraft maintenance transit inspections and fault resolution.
Adjusts, repairs, or replaces electrical wiring system and aircraft accessories.
Performs preflight, thru-flight, and post-flight maintenance inspections.
Performs miscellaneous duties to service aircraft, including flushing crankcase, cleaning screens and filters, greasing moving parts, and checking brakes.
Cleans parts, using cleaning solutions, and polishing and lapping compounds.
Performs work under general supervision.
Handles moderately complex issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter.

Secret Clearance (interim Secret to start).
HS diploma or equivalent.
Technicians must have previous helicopter experience with a minimum of four (4) years aviation experience.
