The Commissary Supervisor is responsible for the supervision and operation of the facility commissary including, but not limited to inventory, sales and ordering stock.
Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all goods on a daily, weekly and/or monthly basis to determine and monitor minimum and maximum levels.
Evaluate commissary stock for variety and makes recommendations for change.
Provide supervision and direction for assigned inmates/residents in the performance of their duties.
Conduct commissary sales operation in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.
Process inmate’s/resident’s order forms; enter data into computer.
Create commissary delivery or pick-up schedule for inmate/resident orders, adjust for inmate movement or building schedule as needed.
