Description
Weyerhaeuser is seeking a talented, organized, and safety-conscious Storeroom Clerk to join the team at our Philadelphia Lumber Mill, located in Philadelphia, MS. As a Storeroom Clerk, you will support the teams to facilitate and improve storeroom systems and processes with a high level of energy, commitment, and follow through to help us achieve and exceed our commitments around safety, reliability, quality, and innovation. The Storeroom Clerk reports to the Materials Manager.
Key Functions :
Participate in planning to ensure parts are available when they are required
Work closely with vendors and suppliers
Maintain ethical and appropriate business relationships with vendors and suppliers
Perform with a high level of initiative and constructive participation in storeroom activities including receiving, inspection, storing, issuing, kitting, sourcing, ordering, shipping, obsolescence, critical spares, credit card reconciliation and computerized inventory accuracy and controls, etc.
Manage PPE and janitorial supply onsite inventory
Facilitate shipments and documentation
Assist with training to ensure compliance with storeroom / site policies and procedures
Maintain a safe, neat, clean, and environmentally responsible work area
Work with procurement to be knowledgeable of delivery commitments and proactively investigate alternate sources of supply when needed
Other related duties as assigned by Leadership
Additional Qualifications / Responsibilities
Qualifications
GED / High School diploma
At least 5 years of electrical and controls experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
Ability to program and troubleshoot AC or DC power inverters / frequency drives
Proven expertise in preventative and predictive maintenance systems and methods
Ability to read and understand electrical power and control system schematics
Ability to identify root cause of problems and effectively initiate immediate corrective action to prevent reoccurrence
Track record of consistently demonstrating leadership skills to positively influence results in safety, environmental compliance, quality, productivity and people development
Demonstrated computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and CMMS software (SAP, Maximo, etc.)
Willing and able to work a flexible schedule, including occasional weekends, when necessary and accept calls during non-business hours as needed
Demonstrated results in achieving and sustaining business goals
Industrial control system design, programming, and troubleshooting experience
Familiarity with electrical power distribution systems
Preferred qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in related field such as Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field
At least 3 years' experience managing a team in an industrial environment
PLC programming experience
Knowledge of computerized scanning and optimizations systems used in wood processing
Familiarity with electrical power distribution systems
Knowledge of mechanical and fluid power systems
What we offer :
Compensation : This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $66,703 - $119,000 based on your level of skills, qualifications, and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 5 or 7% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.
