Responsibilities
Job Description
Implementing, managing, and maintaining HSE policies and procedures that comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
Maintain and ensure implementation of HSE programs and training such as, but not limited to Stop Work Authority, Industrial Hygiene Monitoring, Behavior-Based Safety Program, Hazard Communication, Emergency Action Plan, Hearing Conservation, Hot Work, Respiratory Protection, and all other programs where applicable.
Maintain compliance for Non-Hazardous and Hazardous Waste, Air Permitting, Storm Water Discharge, SARA Title, and all HSE matters related to the facilities.
Coordinate and Conduct HSE training where applicable.
Participate in HSE Audits conducted by internal and external auditors. (i.e. Corporate, Customer, and Government Agencies.)
Injury/Incident Statistical and Data Base Recordkeeping.
Maintain OSHA Logs.
Coordinate, with operations, the development, management, and maintenance of facility Control of Hazardous Energy Procedures.
Coordinate with operation in developing and maintaining Risk Assessments and Job Hazard Analysis.
Develop, manage, and maintain PPE Hazard Analysis.
Lead and participate in Incident Investigation with the aid of local Supervision, including travel to the accident location when necessary. / Root Cause Analysis including reporting and management of all documents.
Enter and maintain incident/injury data in the JDE Database.
Always required to respond to and provide support for, all incidents day or night including contract employees.
Coordinate with NOV Claims Management, treating physicians, and operations to ensure an effective and timely recovery and return to work for injured employees.
Maintain positive and proactive relations with Facility Managers, Employees, Customers, and Regulatory Agencies.
Required to maintain a good driving record in compliance with NOV Vehicle / Drivers Policy.
Attend, complete and pass HSE Training were required to maintain and/or obtain certifications and authorizations per Tuboscope NOV HSE.
Conduct risk assessments and create proposal for preventative measures and identifies safe method work.
Organize, coordinate, and participate in HSE audits and facility inspections.
Work with identified groups and other business functions on HSE strategic activities and disseminate organization wide HSE strategies and HSE improvement programs. Complete other task as requested by manager.

Minimum Education Required

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, or related field, is preferred.
Three (3) or more years of experience in implementation of Occupational, Health, Safety, and Environmental Programs preferred.
Professional Certification and/or additional education pertaining to the HSE field is preferred.
OSHA 501 Authorized General Industry Trainer preferred.
A hands-on, self-motivator with strong organization and communication skills as well as a dedicated team player.
Ability to speak and conduct effective training in front of small and large audiences.
Computer proficient in Microsoft Programs.
Experience In Waste Management And EPA Preferred.
Fluency in Spanish (Speak, Translate, Write, and Read) is highly preferred but not required.
Strong problem solving and influencing skills
Experience with implementation and maintaining ISO 14001 and 45001 standard
