In This Role, You Will
Ability to perform routine service, setup, adjustment and repairs of paper manufacturing and converting equipment (e.g. pumps, gear reducers, high speed winders, orbital saws, wrappers, packaging and conveying equipment)
Perform Predictive & Preventative tasks associated on heavy industrial manufacturing equipment
Identify and correct defects in equipment during preventative maintenance inspections
Installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of typical ball & roller bearings
Perform horizontal laser equipment alignment tasks
Proficient in rigging/lifting fundamentals required for large equipment replacements
Proficient at using hand tools, portable electric tools & maintenance shop equipment
Basic machinist tasks (e.g. cut and broach keyways on drive line components, minor parts modifications, etc.)
Precision measurements of bearing fits and mounting tolerances.
Work within an operations driven team environment to resolve issues and improve performance

Qualifications
In one of our manufacturing roles, you’ll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center. To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
Are 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States
High School Diploma or equivalent
Journeyman level skills supported by successful completion of a certified mechanical training program or apprenticeship in a relevant discipline (machinist, certified welder, etc.) minimum 2 year training requirement AND 3 years mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing setting OR 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in an industrial setting.
Proven safety record that demonstrates solid performance
Able to perform physically demanding tasks, work at heights and within confined spaces.
Must understand preventive/predictive/proactive maintenance concepts.
Can maintain a work schedule of 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
Can pass a pre-employment assessment and a pre-employment drug background screening.
Preferred Qualifications
Papermaking Experience
Training in LEAN tools and concepts
Experience with high-speed manufacturing and converting equipment
Competitive Compensation with a starting wage range of $40.81 per hour (with premium rates on Sundays) and available pay increases within your first year. You’ll also be included in our 401(k) and Profit-Sharing Plans.
