Your "Take Off" will be successful by doing the following with excellence :
Leads solicitations for the purchase of related goods and services, including creating solicitation and contract documents, developing requirements, managing selection teams, stakeholders, and project schedules, evaluating bids and proposals, and negotiating resulting contract awards with vendors.
Approves decentralized purchases made by other Departments, including approving Purchase Orders in Workday, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies, and negotiating or re-negotiating contractual terms with vendors.
Leads collaboration with end user departments on strategic procurement planning and facilitates contract renewals.
Manages documents in accordance with records retention policies and assists in responding to public record requests and vendor disputes or protests.
Advises on procurement matters to personnel delegated with higher purchasing authority and administers the preparation, verification, abstracting, controlling, or closing out of procurement documents.
May lead or participate in organization projects that identify and implement solutions that support improvements or growth.
Performs related work as required.
Salary range for this position is $65,000.00 - $80,000.00. The offered salary is evaluated using internal equity, job knowledge, skills, experience, and other key factors.
Certificates / Security Clearances / Other
Your "Landing" will be smooth if you meet the following requirements :
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Contract Management, or a related degree.
Minimum three (3) years of experience purchasing / procurement and leading the negotiation of terms and conditions : Or equivalent education and years of experience.
Understands federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to procurement and contract administration.
Able to pass a pre-employment drug test, which includes testing for marijuana (medical marijuana cards are not acceptable)
Salary : $65,000 - $80,000
