Job Summary
We are seeking a Production Associate to join our team. This entry-level position is responsible for ensuring proper inspection and packing of product in the Production Department.
The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, no prior experience necessary. Ability to read shipping labels, identify defects in finished product, and possess good color acuity are also required. Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor automated packing process and provide manual intervention when needed
• Inspect full boxes of finished product for quality
• Assemble boxes for filling with finished product
• Maintain organized and clean workstations and common area
• Other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor
Additional Requirements:
• Ability to lift, carry, push and pull up to 25 pounds frequently and 27 pounds occasionally
• Use of Personal protective equipment on the production floor (PPE)
• Physical requirements include standing, climbing, walking, lifting, carrying, pulling, pushing, stooping, crouching, color determination, and grasping
