ARA is growing fast! Engineers & physicists at ARA developed RF antenna technologies that deliver unmatched performance for our DoD clients. As a result, we must hire to meet the demand for our products while continuing to extend functionality. We are looking for a senior level RF technology subject-matter expert (SME) with a passion for doing work of national importance and a talent for managing RF hardware development and production projects. The successful candidate will lead a multidisciplinary project team responsible for the assembly/integration of various antenna technologies. As an SME, they will be expected to make informed decisions about the personnel, equipment, suppliers, and outside services required to meet production contract requirements and exceed customer expectations.
Over the last two years, research scientists and engineers at Applied Research Associates (ARA) have realized extraordinary success in developing ultra-wideband, modular, antenna systems with unmatched performance capabilities. As a result, customers in both Defense and Intelligence communities are turning to ARA to meet operational needs that were previously unattainable. To keep up with the demand for our products while simultaneously advancing the state of the science, ARA is looking for a senior-level program manager (PM) with a background (subject matter expertise) related to antennas, radar, communication, navigation, and EW systems. This individual will work alongside the leader of our Antennas and Radomes group in Lafayette, CO office, providing day-to-day program management, supporting customer interactions, and using their technical expertise to advise on approaches to accelerate or improve our products.

He or she will be responsible for overseeing a wide variety of fabrication and testing processes and equipment to integrate RF components into antenna systems for wide-ranging DoD and government applications and ensure consistently high-quality products. The PM will be responsible for working directly with materials suppliers and outside services and will interface with customers as required to ensure that we meet all contractual requirements, while exceeding customer expectations whenever possible. The PM will continuously collaborate with other engineers, scientists, technicians, and administrative staff.
