This role will support the Quality Assurance department, helping to ensure that finished products and assemblies meet required regulatory and organizational Quality standards while maintaining all Safety measures.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Inspect, reject, or accept products according to visual standards, weight, tally, and other Q.C. requirements.
Documentation and recordkeeping.
Control the removal of monograms from non-conforming products.
Utilize safe work habits.
Wear appropriate PPE.
Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines, and procedures.
Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines, and procedures.
Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines, and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Advanced level computer skills (Microsoft and ERP) an asset.
Ability to pass a drug screen & background check.
Must be able to work rotating schedules, overtime, and Saturday.
2 years of relatable quality control experience within a manufacturing environment preferred.
Must be mathematically inclined.
Forklift license preferred.
Experience working in facilities which have held ISO, API, ASME, and/or similar industry certification programs.
Training in API Q1 and ISO 9001 is considered an asset.
Ability to accurately use scales, outside diameter tape, ruler, and thread height gauges.
Adaptable with the willingness to be a team player and the ability to learn technical repair and assembly guidelines and procedures.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to read drawings, instructions or repair and assembly operations.
Factory environment with a large range in temperature changes.
Standing, Walking, Bending/Stooping, Push/Pull, and Repetitive Movements up to 12 hours daily.
Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. regularly.
