What are we looking for?
The Regional Key Account Manager is responsible for supporting The Home Depot account and the on-going programs across our global organization by ensuring day-to-day customer programs, requests, complaints, and opportunities are handled efficiently, timely and professionally. This position is the local face of Intertek embedded within The Home Depot's Store Support Center and will engage each day with their Product Engineers, Quality Engineers, and Packaging Engineers continually building a strong client bond.
Shift/Schedule: 40 Hours per week; Monday -Friday

What You’ll Do
Support and administer customer(s) quality program across our global organization by ensuring that day-to-day customer requests, problems, issues and complaints are handled efficiently, timely and professionally
Performs random review of test reports to ensure consistency and accuracy which are reported to global network of labs and the Global Account Manager
Expedite projects as needed (from start to finish) to ensure turnaround times and performance metrics are met,and tracks our services against service level agreements to our customer and to the Global Account Manager. This includes any work sent out to subcontractors
Participates and supports customer(s) QA engineers and other stakeholders in routine quality and safety meetings or product line reviews
Facilitates technical regulatory support to our client, directly or through Intertek network of experts
Prepares monthly reports through data gathering, including data entry as needed, to aid in business metrics reporting
Articulates the customers’ business needs and identifies areas of opportunity for revenue growth to the Global Account Manager and other stakeholders
Provides regular Account Status updates through established CRM system
Works in a professional manner and in conjunction with local and global Intertek operations and client services staff to achieve customer deliverables and exceed customer expectations
Responsible on a daily basis for accurate and timely data entry into the client’s system to enable client contact details and activity reports to be created as each program develops
Assist with preparation for BD or GKAM onsite customer visits and quarterly business reviews

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in related area, or the equivalent in terms of education, experience and/or training;
2 years directly related experience, with direct customer interaction
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; detail oriented with proactive and positive attitude
Excellent written and oral communication skill
Effective time management and organizational skill
Proficiency in MS Office; ability to create spreadsheets, tables and graphs, queries, extrapolate and summarize meaningful data
Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities
No travel is required for this position with the exception of occasional training workshops, internal business review meetings or domestic lab visits with the client
This position will be located onsite at the client’s facility
Preferred Requirements & Qualifications
Engineering Degree in related area is preferred
