Shift Supervisor- Valdosta, GA
This is an exempt level position.
Position Summary
Supervising the daily activities of safety, quality, and production procedures as well as leading employees in all aspects of production during shift.
Job Responsibilities
Display a dedication to lead, participate, and support all safety, quality, and environmental rules and regulations applicable to the position.
Be responsible for the daily plant operations, which include safety and environmental compliance, food safety, quality control, production, cost optimization and efficiencies.
Responsible for ensuring accurate cleaning and sanitation between runs.
Maintain good working relationships with all employees.
Must have a complete understanding of how all departments work and their interrelationship within the facility.
Supervise, review, and suggest/direct initiatives for continuous improvement in all areas of the prep and extraction plant operations.
Review employee performance and assist in employee development, including Performance Excellence integration with job duties.
Observes equipment throughout plants and report concerns to Plant Superintendent.
Give feedback on a routine basis to all employees.
Assist with daily production records as needed.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Flexibility to work any shift required, including weekends and holidays as applicable.
Flexibility and welcoming of changes in work routine.
Ability to direct others, make timely decisions, and complete safety and work permits, as well as production logs.
Results driven to provide support to achieve the goals established by management.
Ability to analyze information quickly to provide feedback in the manufacturing process and troubleshoot equipment failures.

If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
The pay range for this position is expected to be between:
$58,100.00 - $108,000.00
